Ergonomic computer access

  • IBM or Mackintosh-compatible software and devices

  • Training for the user and, if necessary, immediate family, friends or carers

Intended for people who cannot ergonomically access the keyboard or mouse of a standard computer, this is a technical aid programme to IBM and Macintosh standards. It includes compatibility tests, installation and configuration of the machine to suit the needs of the user.

Environmental control

General survey of a bedroom, apartment or building, in terms of the needs of the user and immediate family, friends or carers, and of the specific infrastructure that will enable optimum use of the environmental control system to control doors, windows, roller shutters, elevators, calls etc. Survey and programming of the environmental control equipment, including telephone, audiovisual devices and a call system.

Autonomy in the home through environmental control

Survey and personal implementation to provide the necessary autonomy to allow control of a TV, a hi-fi, a light, a telephone, a call system etc.; general architectural survey of a bedroom, apartment or building, with a view to installing remote controls for doors, windows, roller shutters, elevators, etc.

Better living

The Fondation Suisse pour les Téléthèses (FST – Swiss Foundation for Rehabilitation Technology) now offers a new concept mainly designed for the elderly, to help them live better at home, but helping them also by supplying equipment to nursing homes.

Quo Vadis // Liberty
